ASP isn't a language, its a script execution environment.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
And just because something is older doesn't mean its inherently worse.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Python is a tried and tested language and framework, if you need to
develop something for uber-mission-critical systems, such as a
life-support system, you'd want to do it in a proven reliable platform,
rather than the bleeding edge.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Why else does NASA use venerable chips and platforms in their missions?
Their Mars rovers use software written in Java and use commodity
