Today, Microsoft Open Technologies announced the open sourcing of Reactive Extensions! 
In addition to the usual support for .NET and JS we're very pleased to announce the release of the C++ Rx library! Now, C/C++ developers get to experience the power of LINQ + Rx!! Rock and roll.
Congratulations to the Rx team!!!

Thrilled to hear about the release of C++ support for Rx. There are just so many places I can use this, even in multi-decade old 'legacy' code. Kudos to all involved in delivering on the native code story.

This is great for everyone, because there's so much Rx can do for any language and platform ... like LINQ, the general pattern is useful everywhere ... I'm very happy to hear this news. I hope to find time to contribute as well.
