I don't think that parents can teach teens everything they need to know about how to stay secure. Alot of the skunkware of the net is found at places the teens will never ever admit to visiting in the first place. And neither will the parents. So that conversation is a non starter. Everyone must learn to apply some basic precautions. The good thing is that its very easy to find resources online that offer good advice.
