Today Microsoft announced the MSN Toolbar Suite beta. You can get it now at http://beta.toolbar.msn.com.

The Toolbar Suite team took some time out of their busy schedule last week and here they answer a ton of questions about the team and the product.

There are two parts to the team: one in Redmond, WA and another in Mountain View, CA. So, we interviewed both teams. (The other video will include a video demo). Pictured in this video is David Dawson, group product manager, Chris McConnell, software architect, Dave Steckler, software development engineer, Paul Steckler, program manager, and Tom Laird-McConnell, software development engineer.

Yes, that's right, there are TWO sets of brothers on this team!

The coolest thing for me was seeing what McConnell and Steckler are doing these days - I worked with them back in Lan Manager in the 1980's.

WOOH! WOOH!
I don't mind that the MSN Toolbar Suite is IE only, but Start the tour only works on IE also is rediculous. Using FireFox, the tour won't take you beyond the 2nd feature.

It appears to be a bad URL. We'll get this corrected. Sorry 'bout that.
