We received feedback from both internal and external users that the stop debugging / edit / build / launch / attach cycle was too heavyweight, especially by comparison to the typical Web experience. We wanted to focus on making sure that cycle was as fast as possible, but we also wanted a model that mapped more closely to the browser – thus the Refresh Windows app feature ("F4") was born.
