Microsoft Belux & the Microsoft Innovation Center have the pleasure to share with you the Windows Phone 7.5 Academic Tour.
It's no secret that the Mobile & Wireless industry is growing very rapidly. The mobile platform is becoming one of the most strategic markets today. With the smartphones available, cheap computing power and seamless communication enable a flood of new innovative application and services.
With this recorded session, we offer students and academic staff the opportunity to learn – from the expert/instructor Christophe Peerens - how to program for a Windows Phone 7.5. The focus of the 4 hour session (split in 2 videos) is on the development of your first mobile application. It is recommended to have a basic knowledge of .NET & C#, Silverlight before watching the recordings. When you want to do the exercises included in the session, you should install first the Software Development Kit for Windows Phone. The SDK can be downloaded free of charge from DreamSpark.
Content of the sessions (part 1 and part 2):
Good luck and enjoy developing for Windows Phone!
