dezineforce (http://www.dezineforce.com) recently completed a proof-of-concept with Microsoft to look at how they could overhaul their user experience using Silverlight 3.

dezineforce offer a scalable, on-demand engineering design capability over the web. Backed by a powerful HPC cluster, their front-end web interface is currently built using HTML and AJAX. They were keen to explore opportunities to build an enhanced experience for their users.

In this video I chat to some of the people involved in the project to get their perspective on the project and the results.

... and what exactly did they solve? Put out Silverlight app that runs against HPC cluster? If that is what they did, there is nothing new about it.

A usual Microsoft style, so many words and not very clear and concise.
