Im not sure many people would do that kind of work on there phone, I personally would find it impossible.

The application interface would need to be redesigned for working on such a small screen else it will just be continual scrolling to get anything done.

Noooooooooo. Office 2007 is bad enough! The complexity is getting ridiculous. Now everything is going to have to happen remotely? This is going to remove all control from the home user. You'll have to be on-line to do anything and you won't have any choice. The interface will be dumbed down and expert power users will be forced to kludge along with newbies, just like Office 2007.

Also, I hate IE8. Slow and slow and slow and clumsy. We'll be forced to use it though.

Keep it up Microsoft. Keep it up. We'll all go to OpenOffice eventually. I'm selling my MS stock.

The online versions is going to be very usefull, this is great news for me, I'm a big fan of Office aplications.

Man what did you expect? There will probably be a Visual Studio Web too. Try investing effort in something that does not align with with the MS product line or you'll just be doing advanced R&D for them.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! . I spent 2-4 h every night in last 4 months maing silverlight document editor. I drow tre roulers manualy, coded every single letter behavior and integrated control into framework throught System.Reflection so that user can add functionalty without coding throught admin wizard by connecting silverlight famework objects properties. And now my work goes to trash because Microsoft is about to realise this. Genaraly I like microsoft products, but sometimes they kill me.

I have wrote the following on the html editor <> below and when i go back to the Design view and returen back to the html and back to the design view the text above resulted.

Anyway am not trying to look in to the bad side. I love to see the office application that i use everyday in the office becoming one of the tools to use online. Hope to see if not all but most of the Microsoft Office application here. it is really exiting.
