The web was built on a principle that the client can ask for a representation of a resource in the format that they can support.  Browsers typically support this using an Accept header.  In the world of REST however most people have moved to a model where the format is a part of the URI.  Can you do this with WCF services?  Oh yes you can and in this episode Rob Bagby and I will show you how.

The web has been an amazing success and one reason why is because of the cachng it does.  One benefit of building RESTful services with WCF is that you can take advantage of the same caching infrastructure that the web does.  How do you do it?  Just sit back and watch this episode to hear from Rob Bagby on all the detail.

Have you had Mono?  No, not the virus... I'm talking about the Mono project.  If you hadn't heard about it, this is a version of .NET that runs on Linux.  While I was in Boston for the ReMix conference I had a chance to chat with Miguel about his work with Novell and the Mono project.
