Ian Dixon starts this one off. He's not a Microsoft employee but has a great podcast that talks about the Windows Media Center. We met up with him at the Microsoft Home in London. That's a showcase for Microsoft technologies. After talking with Ian we walk through the home and get a tour. Since this home is by invitation only, it's an exclusive chance to get a look. Don't miss the cool gadgets including a mirror that has a monitor built in.

WOOH! WOOH!
Since the UK gave us American Idol, I guess it's only fair that we send Ricki Lake over.

PS. Ian doesn't look like his avatar.

You mean better looking? Big Smile
Very cool.

So how do I get hold of one of those CD's, so that I can get a list of the products featured in the house.

(Not that I can afford all those lovely toys at the moment)

My CD is at home so I can't remeber exactly was on it but the main content on the CD was a nice video they put together of the home in action which you can watch here

brings back some memories. I went to the M-Home a few months ago (before scoble did). I really want one of those speakers.

Ian did you see the number of network ports in the corner of the living room; there were about 20 of them grouped together.
man ian doyle looks like one of my mates... quite scary the similarities!

i swear scoble looked at the spv c500/htc typhoon and noticed the orange logo on it. seemed like the camera did a double take Tongue Out

anyone know much about c600/tornado btw?

its funny, US and UK have adopted things quite differently.
UK seems more mobile based with text messaging etc.
US seems more entertainment based by the impression i get Tongue Out
