Didn't watch the video but I think they were MVPs for the other programs and just got a chance to see the new XBOX.

MVPs usually answer thousands of newsgroup and forum posts each. It's not that easy to become one and is a big honor.

No, these were MVPs specificially for Xbox. There are more than 2,000 MVPs, but these are the ones you'll meet on Xbox.com.

I'm sure the MVPs *can't* say anything about the console right now, for the same reason Larry couldn't show the games.

These videos are interesting but I can't help but feel that they're a subtle way of hyping the new console.

It's critical that MS gets out of the gate fast and furiously with the 360, some would even say that MS is helping that along a bit.

The videos on C9 are interesting looks into the cockpit, but this just feels like marketing to me. meh

That joystiq article is...eh. Larry Hryb (via his blog/podcasts) has said many times that there will be many consoles in the store.

What are channel 9 videos? They are to show off the products and give a view to inside of Microsoft. That is exactly what this video is. This is info I have known, and some I didnt. They arent marketing it to me, I am getting a console regardless.
