Sorry to hear that! I've tried this at work and at home, and it seems to be working for me...
Can someone else chime in and say whether or not this video plays for you?

Not working here either. I'm clicking the "screencast {opens in new window}" image, but nothing is happening. I don't get the hand cursor or any loading message or anything, just nothing. Looks like it's just an unclickable image.
This is on IE6 with Silverlight 1.
Edit: I get this HTML: <a id="ctl00_MainPlaceHolder_Starter_MediaPlayer_MediaLink"><img id="ctl00_MainPlaceHolder_Starter_MediaPlayer_MediaPreview" src="
http://mschnlnine.vo.llnwd.net/d1/Dev/App_Themes/C9/images/player/screencast.png
" alt="Screencast" /></a>
Note no onclick or href or whatever you guys do to open the new window.

Thanks Duncan!
All, could you let us know what browser (and version) you're using? Bas, the dev team already know yours (thanks for sharing).

After posting, and restarting, I could then play. For me, I think it was some jumbo in IE7 (also SL2 installed). I also noticed some issues with MSDN forums yesterday, that may have caused some issues in my IE7 - just a feeling.
Can we do this today? So far, I only have access to .Net API projects in Azure and nothing else. What else do I need to do to get access to do this in the video? tia
