David Chappell, noted author and lecturer, gave a presentation on Software+Services to a group of architects recently in New York.  This is an interview with David where he expresses his views on how cloud software development will resemble on-premises software development.

Before C# there was darkness...
I would bet the same way.  Volta is best example of this.  It should be no harder for me to move a section of code into the "cloud" (I am staring to hate that word) then to change an attribute on a class and deploy.  Same code, same debugging experience, etc.  A no brainer IMHO.
