In this interview,
Sahil Malik, a SharePoint expert and Microsoft MVP, shares with
Zhiming Xue, a.k.a. "Dr. Z”, his extensive experiences on SharePoint (MOSS) development.
Mr. Malik describes a SharePoint development approach that relies on WCF services or contracts, and explains how this approach decouples a SharePoint client or user interface -- whether it is based on ASP.NET, web part, AJAX or Silverlight -- from the SharePoint server, thus effectively addressing some common challenges related to SharePoint development that often requires various roles and skills such as designers, web developers, SharePoint developers and administrators.
