Bob Familiar interviews David Platt, CEO of Rolling Thunder, on why today’s software sucks. There’s no other good way to say it. It’s unsafe, allowing criminal programs to creep through the Internet wires into our very bedrooms. It’s unreliable, crashing when we need it most, wiping out hours or days of work with no way to get it back. And it’s hard to use, requiring large amounts of head-banging to figure out the simplest operations. In his book, David Platt explains why this is the case and, more importantly, why it doesn’t have to be that way.

Oh, and by the way, in this regard, Platt did not disappoint. I held regarding software development and the truly creative people who do it for a living, the author tossed out enough new thoughts, peppered with a sense of humor welcome enough to keep me engaged.Well, if we don't want to use software with bugs, then we will never use a software...I mean there's nothing perfect in this world, right?

What David said was right. Even though not all software are filled with bugs, but most of them have one or two. But it doesn't mean that all software sucks. There are some developer that only aiming for profit without considering their software quality. That's the main problem.

You are right. This is completely unsafe. A lot of software comes out so buggy that just about anyone can get through it.

It is always depends on the purpose of the software, everyone create software from their brain and effort, I wouldn't say suck, but need improvement to achieve better result. Need to appreciate what we have done also appreciate someone else work , that my opinion

That the same man. They are all screw up when we needed it. Maybe we must use it manually, back to the prehistoric era. Creating tools from rocks and trees. That would be nice. Ha-ha. Fix the bugs and give us some good one. Not with the one that always crashed when we used them.Milan Hotels

I am so happy to watch this show.  farmville cheats

I think developer should work together with programer so their software will be in a great performance when it's finished. I suggest that they do some test processing too.
