Jaime Rodriguez came back from MIX09 and thought "Hey, I bet my WPFFX library could run in the new Silverlight 3 beta".  So he added a few #ifdefs, compiled and waa-laa!  The WPFFX library is running in the Silverlight 3 beta and we have video to prove it.

Jaime has all of the details in his blog post about the success.

  • Pretty cool. I did a similar port last week during mix. I posted it on my blog http://blog.j-maxx.net

Nice to see he found a way around the transitions thing. I was just playing around for like a half an hour to see if they'd work. I'm definitely including this in my next demo.

Lovely effects, but what I want to know the most is where can I buy that music? I want that music so badly.
  • I normally wouldn't coment on it but since this IS a geeky forum...

Agreed, I did use the slang version and not the proper way to say it.  Next time I'll be proper and stay classy.

Cool, I'm glad you liked it.  The music comes from The3amAssociation which you can listen to on ccmixter.
