In this short video, CSD MVP Aaron Skonnard from PluralSight demonstrates how to consume REST services using the new HttpClient class that ships with the WCF REST Starter Kit, Preview 2.

For the REST service to consume, Aaron uses the Twitter service to interact with Twitter status information, and how to associates Twitter credentials with the requests to issue requests against the Twitter service that require authentication information.

For additional information on the WCF REST Starter Kit, please check out the REST in WCF Dev Center on MSDN and the .NET Endpoint team blog. For more information on classes offered by Aaron and the PluralSight folks, check out their catalog of instructor led courses and new online courses that cover a variety of Microsoft technologies, ranging from .NET v3.5 to WSS to BizTalk server.

One of either video resolution or screen font size should be higher... as this is barely readable.
Don't watch the embedded video. Download the WMV (high) version, which is excellent quality and looks great even fullscreen.

I got the part on how to use GET method and process the REST services, but I can't get through with the POST method.

i tried post (url, new httpcontent("paramer=value")); but it doesn't work

how do i post the parameter and value over using httpclient? thanks
