How do I download the videos?
- To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”
Why should I download videos from Channel9?
- It's an easy way to save the videos you like locally.
- You can save the videos in order to watch them offline.
- If all you want is to hear the audio, you can download the MP3!
Which version should I choose?
- If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
- If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
- If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
- If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.
Right click “Save as…”
- High Quality WMV (PC, Xbox, MCE)
- MP3 (Audio only)
- MP4 (iPod, Zune HD)
- Mid Quality WMV (Lo-band, Mobile)

Who won the scrabbel game?
@Paul: It's the Windows Phone MarketPlace
Paul chickened out. I would destroy him.
I don't think it did that kind of ads, you must the parental filter turned off Paul.
Don't listen to Laura's blasphemy. I could beat her left-handed.
We demand a game of scrabble in the next show
O.K. How does one obtain one of those little 9 guys? Many years ago I obtained a SQL Server Girl from attending several online events. Sadly I cannot find an image at the moment, but the design is simular to the 9 guy.
hotmail started in 95, who has the oldest hotmail address ? I still use mine and I made mine in 98, April.
Good question, Shahedk! I will look into this... but I had received a memo that had this line in it...
... perhaps some marketing person went overboard... stay tuned.
The tools for WP7 are free for all anyway so they wouldn't be covered by the Dreamspark licence I'd have though.
It's true:
Finally! Some SQL Server news!
PASS is a great event. I will not be able to participate this year although i won a free ticket...
Paul - throw us a bone here, which session were you talking about?
Apple stole the name of your show. You should sue!
Ha! Channel 9 Ping beats Apple Ping any day in my book. And why do they have it built into the iTunes application instead of a browser? Most people I know love iPods but hate the iTunes app. Besides, Zune has had something like this for a few years. I guess Apple wants to try to control your social network too
And Max thought Ping was a stupid name! hrmph~
Hey, Laura! Did you hear about the new social network that Apple announced? Not a very original name, huh?
BTW, I love your show--the original Ping. I watch it on my Zune HD every week. Keep up the good work!
Edit: I guess you already did. I just read the posts before mine. LOL
