The latest version of Windows HPC Server offers the signature advantages of a Windows operating system such as ease of use, advanced professional development tools, and unparalleled binary compatibility. However, the migration of applications to a Windows platform can be a learning experience for a typical high-performance computing (HPC) developer with a strong UNIX background. In this webcast, we discuss the anatomy of a typical HPC application and the general porting process. We explain how to use cross-platform development tools such as Cygwin, CMake, Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications (SUA), and the migration API reference guide. We also provide an update on the status of OSS solver and I/O libraries.  Powerpoint Presentation
