Virtual PC (VPC) is truly a developer's and tester's best friend. Do you want to run a PC in a Window? Imagine having a virtual image for any product in Beta that does not impact your host machine. For those that are familiar with VPC, you might find some of the settings of interest and how to create and use a dif file. If you are a presenter or teacher, you will love the automatic reset capability (undo). You will want to check this tool out, it is one that Stan and I both use every day.


What is it? Create and run one or more virtual machines on a single computer, each with its own operating system. Switch easily between them like switching applications.

Installation Notes: Undo changes is not the default when setting up a VPC, apply Virtual PC 2007 SP1.

Usage Notes: When starting with a base image, consider making a dif file to keep the master pristine. Run as Admin on Vista.
