I'm not going to get into any details here, but it's something pretty special. It'll improve your Monday, anyway </itunes:summary>

<evnet:views>27008</evnet:views><evnet:viewtrackingurl>http://channel9.msdn.com/249297/WebViewBug.aspx?EVT=0</evnet:viewtrackingurl><evnet:previewtext>
Had some technical difficulties with posting this video yesterday, but we seem to be back online and working.

That's a good thing - this another video in the TechFest series, but it isn't especially business oriented.

Imagine if part of your job was to learn how to play Quake III.

Yeah.

Now imagine that part of your job was to improve Quake III's networking to the point that you could potentially have a game with hundreds of players rather than just sixteen or so.

That's what these guys are doing.

</evnet:previewtext>

<itunes:author>Rory</itunes:author>

<trackback:ping>http://channel9.msdn.com/249297/Trackback.aspx</trackback:ping>

TechNet Radio - How Microsoft IT Deployed Windows Vista Wireless Group Policy

New features in Windows Vista Wireless group policy provided the Microsoft Identity and Access Management (IAM) team with the ability to deploy a group policy object to automatically configure wireless network settings for Windows Vista and Windows XP clients. The team was able to leverage the new interoperability feature to configure wireless network settings for both Windows Vista and Windows XP within a single group policy object in each domain. The enhanced security features allowed the team to block clients from connecting to specific Adhoc networks and configure stronger authentication and encryption methods. In this interview Michael Murphy speaks with Brian Davies about the team's design and deployment methods for the group policy rollout.

Participants:
