Welcome to the Windows Live OneCare Wiki

The current release of Windows Live OneCare is V2.5, released July 1, 2008.

Windows Live OneCare is the all-in-one, always-on PC care service from Microsoft. It works quietly in the background on your computer, so you don't have to worry about nasty interruptions from viruses, spyware, hackers, and other unwanted intruders. It also goes beyond security, regularly backing up all your important files and cleaning up and tuning up your computer to help keep it running at top speed.

This wiki, along with the OneCare Forum, has been created by Windows Live OneCare for use by the OneCare community as a place to share knowledge. Information here is provided by individual OneCare users for the benefit of fellow users. Information here has not been verified by Microsoft and use of information here is at your own risk.
