Question: How do I share Library on UNC share?

Answer:

Creating the UNC share library

* Create a network share to host the Library. For example \\TestServer\UNCLibrary\
* If you need to share a read only Library give users read only access to the share, if you need to give users read-write access to library, give full control to the share.
* Go to GE and right click the Library you want to share, lets say Test library, then select Export Library... option.
* Save the Library to the UNC share which you created in first step. Lets say the library is saved as Test.xml

Subscribing the UNC share Library

* Users would have to go to Libraries node and right click and chose Subscribe Library and From File... option.
* Browse to the UNC share where the Library is available, select the Library file and click Open on Subscribe Library From File dialog. For example the file to be chosen would be \\TestServer\UNCLibrary\Test.xml.
* This will add the UNC Library now users can browse, create and modify guidance items in the UNC share library depending upon the permission he/she has.
