Join Jerry Nixon, Developer Evangelist for Microsoft and Rich Chiodo, Sr Software Engineer, Microsoft Visual Studio Team. Rich talks about Windows PIX, a tool for debugging graphics that DirectX renders. Developers using DirectX will be excited by the tips shared on how the tool can save time with graphic debugging.
Rich has worked in the software industry as a developer since 1995. He has worked for startups, medium companies and big ones (well like Microsoft). Mostly he has written tools for developers and designed their user interface. Currently, Rich is a developer on Visual Studio, writing graphics debugging tools. He has always been an avid gamer and spends too much of his time saving the universe from aliens. He once took two weeks off work just to play Legend of Zelda. Nowadays, he plays mostly Lego star wars with his kids.
Jerry Nixon is a Microsoft Developer Evangelist in Colorado. He has been developing and designing on the Microsoft platform for 15 years. He speaks at universities, events and groups on Kinect, XAML, Windows Phone, and Windows 8. Most of Jerry's days are spent teaching his three daughters Star Trek character backstories and episode plots.
