How do you localize a product? Answers to these questions and much more by the people who know best:

Note for the record that I am not actually a "two-timer", despite Robert's suggestion that this phrase be used for people who have been in more than one video (previous one here).

This video was brought to you by the Vietnamese

    A most morally-loose character.

How does one judge the moral fiber of a Unicode character? Smiley

    First in danish:
Fedt! Endelig en ny dansk nørd på Channel 9 ud over Mr. Hejlsberg. Wink Godt gået Claus!

And for you non-danes here's an english translation:
Cool! Finally a new danish geek on Channel 9 besides Mr. Hejlsberg. Wink Nicely done Claus!

    Go denmark!

Tak Johannes, I'm glad you liked it!
    (I take "geek"/"nørd" as a compliment) Smiley

The interview touches on both the technical and business perspective of releasing an international version of Windows, and Windows Vista is certainly a challenge with the amount of languages being released for this version.

Have you had a chance to check out Windows Vista ß2 yet?

You can also read more about Vista from
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/features/default.mspx

If you have any feedback, particularly for Windows International, please send it on!

I think the title of this video is misspelled, is 'Globabilization' a word?  Should it be 'Globalization'?

Yes, you're right - an extra bi-typo had sneaked in.

Although, if truly "globalized", we should also have written
/globalisation to cover British writing Smiley

    Vista L10N and Globalization team,

My company needs update some projects for supporting Vista in Dec. Is it possible to be shared with your localized terminology in APJ languages, which we could be used as reference? Thanks in advance.

My company is a top US software company, of course, not as top as Microsoft. If possible, we could discuss to setup a partnership between our companies at some info-sharing level.
