intelman TechED is lame. It is full of Microsoft's IT managers and the people who actually make the products. There was a guy there who was "fighting" with the WSUS guys of Microsoft to push Softgrid. I don't care about Microsoft's IT managers, I do not care, I want to see and hear about the people who make the products.
The Techy rock out was kinda interesting last year as well.

Dan intelman - Were you at TechEd Developers or TechEd IT Pro? I'd say the vast majority of attendees at TechEd Developers were in fact developers. I agree with you, I don't care about IT Managers either
