      So true about the weather apps. I'm the Windows Phone developer of Weerplaza.nl, a weather app optimized for use in The Netherlands with a rain radartile with 2 hour prediction for your current location.  I've noticed higher use frequency and recurrence for Weerplaza.nl on Windows Phone than on the iPhone or Android counterparts, and I also tried to 'pin' it on the live tile Wink Plus it's consistently in the top 10 list in the Top Free apps list (when you ignore the Nokia and Microsoft apps).

      Wish list: support for animation similar to animated gifs to show the rain cloud movement...
