How did you make keyboard input so good on Windows Phone? | One Dev Question with Laura…

How much GPU acceleration do you get in WinForms, WPF, and UWP? Mark Alcazar, Partner Director of Software Engineering for Windows, has the answer.
Please give us a lot more discussion about the visual layer, about UI.Composition and what is it's purpose, about writing custom UI layers - which part can UI.Comp provide and what has to be hand written. Where's the intersection between UI.Comp and Xaml. How might we use UI.Comp with CoreApp template to provide a UI layer for our SharpDX games. I see UI.Composition there, but you don't talk about it. I'm not sure what it's purpose is, or how should I use it. What are it's limitations, what it's capable of. Can Xaml be completely replaced or is it meant to complement Xaml? I just need a lot more info and discussion and experimentation.
