Based in Cartagena, Colombia, Facture S.A.S. provides electronic collaboration for electronic invoicing, exchanging documents with customers, and paper-free support on internal and external transactions that increase productivity.

Facture chose to implement its PL-Colab e-invoicing and e-collaboration solution on Microsoft Azure. Facture's cloud platform deployment includes Azure SQL Database, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Blob storage. The high security standards of Azure are aligned with Facture's security objectives, currently certified in ISO 27001.

"Microsoft Azure allowed us to provide each customer a custom-tailored deployment environment very quickly. It also helped us to offload most of the network administration chores. Scaling up and scaling out our systems has never been easier," said Pablo Escobar, ING, architect level 4, Facture.

DIAN, the legal authority in Colombia that validates electronic documents, has announced that Facture SAS has passed satisfactorily as an e-invoicing provider after the completion of the DIAN pilot project. Read the press release.
