CloudLabs by Action Education Center provides solutions that help universities and businesses to rapidly and efficiently deliver and manage online, virtual, hands-on labs. Action Education Center founded CloudLabs in 2011, and since then it has delivered virtual, online, hands-on computer training labs to more than 20,000 students worldwide.

Action Education Center turned to Microsoft Azure as the foundation upon which to build CloudLabs, its solution for managing and distributing flexible and cost-effective online, virtual, hands-on training labs for students, educators, and businesses. Using the power and flexibility of Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Machines, and Microsoft SQL database, Action Education Center's solution enables learners to train in real business environments.

"When we compared university learning environments with business solutions we saw the difficulty of moving environments online. The world is much closer to us, so we needed to get closer to the world. Azure gave us that closeness," said Tomasz Siemek, Board Member, Action Education Center.
