Easybits has launched Kiddo Smart, a Microsoft Universal Windows Platform app available in the Windows Store. The Kiddo Smart App aims to improve cognitive development in children from ages 2 through 12 by focusing on the four ways people understand and retain high-level concepts most effectively – learning, playing, watching, and creating. Children can do more than 50,000 activities, and Microsoft's Cortana Voice Recognition Technology allows them to interact with the app using verbal commands. Cortana also provides voice and text search throughout the entire Kiddo Smart library.
"Adding Kiddo Smart to the Windows Store furthers our goal of delivering child-friendly, age-appropriate learning experiences," said Dave Mendlen, general manager, Windows experiences at Microsoft. "We appreciate that Easybits continues to develop solutions that meet our Universal Windows Platform standards, and that are available across all Windows 10 devices."
Easybits AS was established to develop and distribute safe and educational software solutions for children. Its Magic Desktop won the European Union's benchmarking study of tools for parental control award in 2006 and 2007.
