By using Microsoft Azure Web Apps, Episerver's Digital Experience Cloud provides a platform as a solution that helps clients combine content and commerce and easily push it directly onto the company websites and across multiple channels. Azure Service Bus is used for distributing events between front-end web app instances, while Azure Blob Storage is used for storing all binary content. Azure enables Episerver to offer an API set as a Platform-as-a-Service using IIS/Web Apps, Azure SQL, and Azure Active Directory.
