Global-Regulation Inc. announced it will have the first public demonstration of its new global law search engine at the American Association of Law Librarians annual convention, July 16-19 at the Chicago Hyatt Regency.

The Global-Regulation.com platform leverages Microsoft Azure and Bing Translator APIs to scan millions of laws and translate them into English. Global-Regulation provides the largest comparative search engine of laws, regulations and technical standards from around the world with more than 1.3 million laws from 50 countries.

"Global-Regulation.com has harnessed the combined capabilities of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform and Bing Translator to bridge gaps between languages and cultures in order to make the world's laws accessible to people across the globe," Nicole Herskowitz, senior director of product marketing, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft.

As a quick follow-up to this: AALL 2016 went very well for us (I'm the CTO). Many people stopped by our booth to hear about how we're using machine translation to make the world's laws available. It's a different approach than what people have been exposed to (traditional, expensive, professional translation of a small number of laws).
