Instaclustr, a company that delivers hosted and managed data infrastructure services, announced an extension of the company's existing partnership with DataStax to deliver DataStax Enterprise (DSE) on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Instaclustr's managed service for DSE, the database platform purpose-built for the performance and availability demands of Internet of Things (IoT), web and mobile applications, is backed by a 24/7 team of Apache Cassandra experts. The service provides automation for provisioning, configuring, scaling and ongoing management of the database and underlying infrastructure.
"Having a managed service for DataStax Enterprise on Microsoft Azure provides a powerful solution for enterprises looking for high-performance and scale for mission-critical applications," said Nicole Herskowitz, Senior Director of Product Marketing for Microsoft Azure.
