Madefire Debuts Native Windows 10 Motion Books App

Madefire, a publishing platform for the interactive audio-visual reading format known as Motion Books, announced its award-winning immersive book reading experience and 20,000+ comic book catalog will receive a major update supporting Windows 10.

In addition to making use of the Universal Windows Platform fluid layout in order to support all screen sizes from phones to PCs, the Madefire Comics app will also take advantage of Cortana, Continuum and Live Tiles. With Cortana, comics fans will be able to say, "Hey, Cortana — search for Batman on Madefire," and will see dozens of Injustice Motion Books, exclusively available on Madefire.

"The new Madefire Comics app for Windows 10 is a great example of how we want developers to take advantage of the Universal Windows Platform," said Neil Leslie, General Manager, Developer Platform Evangelism. "Focusing 100% on the end user experience and leveraging Windows 10 features, the app adjusts gracefully and seamlessly to different screen sizes, pixel densities, device capabilities, and input modes, showing off what Windows 10 and Windows 10 devices are capable of. We're pleased that Madefire is bringing such a large catalog, with both remastered Motion Book comics, as well as traditional comics, to Windows 10 fans."

To learn more about the Madefire update, read the press release, or download the app for free on the Windows Store. The first 1,000 users to download the new Madefire Windows 10 app will receive a free Motion Book.
