Opinum Launches Opisense, Will Present it at European Energy Week

Opinum, a Belgian company focused on cloud-based monitoring and building control automation, has announced the integration of Opisense, a cloud-based meter data management suite, with Microsoft Power BI. This equips energy managers with unprecedented options to give sense to their consumption data and orchestrate better plans for monitoring and saving energy in the buildings they manage.

Practical examples will be presented during the European Energy Week at two separate partner events, in Liè€ge on June 16 and Brussels a day later, to be representative of public and private sectors.

"Opinum is one of our top partners in the field of IoT solutions based on Microsoft Azure technology. Opinum operates internationally and its solution has a positive impact on our environment as it enables you to optimize your energy consumption. We are therefore very happy to see them present their solutions during the European Energy Week," said Eric Martens, partner business evangelist, Microsoft.

Opisense brings together the most advanced Internet of Things (IoT) technology and Big Data analytics. Opisense gives building managers a secure web portal to monitor real-time utility consumption and CO2 footprint, allowing them to act, spend less, and enhance the comfort of building occupants. Opinum chose Microsoft Azure for reliable, scalable, and flexible infrastructure.
