ROBLOX, a user-generated online gaming platform, has launched a new Windows 10 app, now available for free in the Windows Store for PCs and tablets. The app, which was previously only accessible to Windows 10 users via web browser, makes it easier to tap into the growing ROBLOX ecosystem. Whether playing on a tablet or a desktop PC, users will now have the ability to easily discover and play user-generated adventures, games and experiences, as well as seamlessly transition to ROBLOX social features without leaving the app.
"We are very excited that ROBLOX is launching in our Windows Store, as we always strive to have the most intuitive products available to our community," said Warren Wilbee, senior director, partner business evangelism, in the US DX group at Microsoft. "We hold ROBLOX in high regards and are looking forward to the additional cross-platform capabilities our users will now enjoy through the ROBLOX Windows 10 app."
