Service Cruiser by Simac chooses Azure for its Internet of Technicians

Simac announced it has chosen Microsoft Azure as its Service Cruiser cloud platform for its Internet of Technicians.

Service Cruiser manages and runs field service operations for telecom service providers, utilities, Internet of Things device vendors and mass retailers. Service Cruiser combines a complete portfolio of field service operations with cloud software for field service management.

Erik Kerkhofs, DX lead at Microsoft, said: "Microsoft gave full support to Simac to shift its Service Cruiser cloud software to Microsoft Azure, and the operation turned into a major success. Microsoft Azure also enables the Service Cruiser software engineers direct access to all infrastructure features and capabilities. In this way, Service Cruiser also has become a more versatile and performant development environment."
