Q1: When does registration start and end?
A1: Hint: Check-in on Monday and avoid the Tuesday morning rush! For your convenience, we are offering complimentary shuttle service from the Barcelona airport to Fira Barcelona Gran Via on Monday 27 October from 08:00 to 19:30. So stop by and pick up your badge before transferring to your hotel! If you are not able to check-in early, please plan to arrive at Registration in Hall 8.0, North Entrance starting at 07:00 on Tuesday to check-in prior to the Keynote Session.

Q2: Where is registration?
A2: Once you arrive at North Entrance of the Fira Barcelona Gran Via, please proceed to the Hall 8.0 Foyer to check-in. Don't forget to bring your barcode confirmation email and photo identification with you to expedite your check-in.

Q4: How much does it cost to park at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via?
A4: If you are arriving by car, please use car park F, which is the closest car park to the North Entrance. The fee is €3.00 per hour.
Q5: How do I get to Country Drinks?
A5: From Plaza España, take the metro red line towards FONDO and change at Urquinaona station (5 stops) and take the yellow line towards LA PAU (3 stops). Get off the metro at Ciutadella / Vila Olímpica station. Staff will be located at Ciutadella/Vila Olimpica station to direct you to the Country Drinks locations in the Barceloneta Beach area. On leaving Country Drinks, you can take the metro, which runs until Midnight, or taxis, which will be readily available.
Q6: Where is the Information Desk?
A6: The TechEd Information Desks, located in the Hall 8.0 Foyer and the Foyer between Halls 6 and 7, are staffed during conference hours. We're here to answer questions and provide other on-site assistance.
Q7: Will there be lunch for Pre-Con attendees?
A7: Yes. Lunch is served in Hall 5 and the Pre-Con wristband is used for entrance.
Q8: Where do I get the TechEd App?
A8: Plan your schedule from the web site or one of several apps! Q10: Where can I acquire session materials?
A10: Session materials are distributed digitally and are associated with sessions within the content catalog.

A11: Hall 7
Q12: Where can I watch the live stream of the keynote and Channel 9 Interviews?
Q13: Are meals provided at the conference?
A13: Lunch, snacks and beverages are provided to all delegates throughout the conference. Lunch is served in Hall 5. Break stations are located throughout the convention center, offering an assortment of soft drinks, coffee, tea and snacks at designated break times. Water bubblers are available throughout conference areas. All meals are either buffet or passed canapé service, providing a range of choices. Vegetarian options are included at all meals. If you requested a halal or kosher lunch, these will be available in one section of the lunch hall and will be clearly sign posted. Please ask the catering staff if you have any questions.
Q14: Can I bring my family to TechEd functions?
A14: All activities in the convention center (including sessions, the TechExpo Welcome Reception, and Ask The Experts) as well as Country Drinks at Barceloneta Beach, are open to delegates only. Barcelona is one of the premier vacation destinations in the world, offering many family-friendly attractions and activities. Please check with your hotel concierge for details. Further local information can also be provided by staff from the Barcelona Tourism and Convention Bureau, located in the Hall 8.0 Foyer.
Q15: Is smoking permitted in the convention center?
A15: Smoking is prohibited throughout the Fira Barcelona Gran Via for fire and safety reasons. Please use the designated smoking areas located outside.
Q16: Is there a Prayer Room at TechEd Europe?
A16: Room 8.A in Hall 8.1 has been set aside for prayer/meditation or for individuals who need a private space. If you have any questions about using this room, please visit one of the Information Desks, located in the Hall 8.0 Foyer and the Foyer between Halls 6 and 7.
Q17: Is there a Mothers' Lounge at TechEd Europe?
A17: Yes, the Mothers' Lounge is located in Hall 8.1, Room 8.C, and is open during registration hours. This room will be left unlocked. Please use the hanging door signage provided in the room to inform other people that the room is in use.
