As questions come in for TechEd Europe on twitter at @TechEd_Europe using hashtag #TEE13, on the TechEd Europe Facebook page and on the TechEd Europe Forum, we're compiling the most frequently asked questions and posting the answers here. 

Q1:  When does registration start and end?
A1:  Hint:  Check-in on Sunday or Monday and avoid the Tuesday morning rush!  If you are not able to check-in on those days, please plan to arrive at Registration in Hall 2 starting at 7:00 on Tuesday to check-in prior to the Keynote Session.

Q2:  Where is registration?
A2:  Once you arrive at IFEMA Feria de Madrid at the South Access, please proceed to Hall 2 and locate the Self Check-in kiosks to check-in.

Q3:  How do I get to IFEMA?
A3:  Details on travel for TechEd Europe are posted here.

Q4:  How do I get to Country Drinks?
A4:  Take metro line 10 to the Lago metro station. Staff will be located at Lago metro station to direct you to the Country Drinks locations within Casa de Campo park.

Q5: Where is the Information Desk at IFEMA?
A5:  The TechEd Information Desks, located in the North Entrance, throughout the conference and in Hall 2 on Monday and Tuesday morning, are staffed during conference hours. We're here to answer questions and provide other on-site assistance.

Q6:  Will there be lunch for Pre-Con attendees?
A6:  Yes.  Lunch is served in Hall 10 and the Pre-Con wristband is used for entrance.

Q7:  Where can I get a map of the venue?
A7:  You can get a map of the event here: http://europe.msteched.com/GetReady. See the TechEd map on pages 4-5 of the conference guide, which you will get at registration.

Q8:  Where do I get the TechEd App?
A8:  Plan your schedule from the web site or one of several apps! Get direct access to the TechEd Schedule Builder, Speaker info, news posts, maps and more with the Channel 9 Events app for Windows 8, Windows Phone, iOS or Android. Search the app store for "Ch9 Events" or go here.

Q9:  I'm experiencing trouble with my Ch9 Events App. Who should I contact?

Q10:  Where can I acquire session materials?
A10:  Session materials are distributed digitally and are associated with sessions within schedule builder.

Q11:  Where is TechExpo being held?
A11:  Hall 8

Q12:  Where can I watch the live stream of the keynotes?

Q13: What content will be streamed and available on-demand? And, when will they become available? A13: Don't miss out!  They keynotes will be streamed live from Madrid:

  • 25 June, 9:00am CEST: The Cloud OS: It's Time!  Brad Anderson Corporate Vice President, Windows Server and System Center, review a broad set of newly-announced updates across the full suite of Microsoft Cloud OS products and technologies, including Windows Server, Microsoft System Center, Windows Azure, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and more.

Q14: What is being served for lunch each day?
A14:  The lunch entrees during the event are:

  • Tues: Grouper in a Piquillo Sauce; Cheese filled tortellini with tomato, basil and onion sauce; Sirloin of Beef in wine sauce; Padron peppers and courgettes; Golden Potato Rounds with red Pepper.
  • Wed: Roasted Chicken with its own jus; Tortilla in sauce; Iberian Pork Sirloin with Boletus; Peas and Carrots; Jacket potatoes.
  • Thurs: Codfish in a cider sauce; Tagliarini with Pesto sauce; Beef Meat Balls with spiced tomato sauce; Carrots and broccoli; Golden Potato Rounds with red Pepper.
  • Fri: Hake in a Parsley sauce; Vegetarian quiche; Chicken Fricasee; Red peppers and courgettes; Rice.

Note each meal also includes salads; a selection of breads and butter; dessert and a selection of ice creams. Bon AppĂ©tit!

Q15: What beverages will be available during the conference?
A15:  Coffee, Tea, Coke, Diet Coke, Fanta Orange, Lemon Fanta, Sprite, Multi Fruit Drink, Apple Drink, Orange Drink, Fizzy Water. There are also water bubblers all around IFEMA.

    How can I register for it since my country "Jordan" was not listed at your registration page?
