Description

Kang Su Gatlin, program manager on Visual C++'s compiler team, talks about parallel debugging. What is that? It's when you need to debug a program running on multiple processors at the same time. It's a new feature coming in the next version of Visual C++.

This is just SO cool. I love what the Visual C++ people are doing with core language and compiler improvements as well as nifty IDE features like parallel debugging.

      Awesome innovation.

      Nice feature Smiley.
Eventhough C# is .NET's core language it can't live with out C++...
Will C++ ever die? No... so my dilemma is if I have to pass on completely to C# or keep doing stuff with C++.......

      grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.........................

This sounds awesome, but I would like to know if it translates to thread-level debugging as well. Will this allow me to tell the debugger which thread I want to step into?
