Description

We were recently at a VS Component lab on the Redmond campus and talked to some customers about the cool components they've built to extend VS functionality. Here we talk to Daniel Jebarat, Vice President of Syncfusion. His company does some rad stuff with Windows Forms.

It sure is fun talking to customers and learning about how they use and extend our products!

Enjoy.

Is it just me or does the video turn upside down and turn green? It's the same with "Raghavendra Prabhu - Briefly Inside the Windows Forms Designer"

And it might be in the newest video aswell.

Had a free year of Syncfusion for being part of Imagine Cup 2004.  Cool stuff although the web stuff was def. IE-only, which wasn't too great.

BenZila: I'm not seeing that behavior on any of the computers here. What media player are you using?

Oh I loved the "real-time" data grid control. At my previous job, I worked on creating a high performance, non-flickering level-II stock quotes for an equities trading house and I can understand how difficult it can be. I developed it entirely using Win32 API and the whole thing consumed less than 30% of processor time even with 10 high volume level-II windows running simultaneously. It's nice to see somebody doing a managed version of level-II quote control.

For quick fix try different tools/options/performance/advanced/video acceleration settings from media player. It's also possible that some 3rd party filter is getting to the graph.. If you have installed codec packs, ffdshow and such, try uninstalling. Some versions of these have bugs that could cause problem like this. Seen it happen.
