WinHEC Cortana Workshop Shenzhen - August Content

At the WinHEC Workshop delivered last week, we hosted a number of partner engineers from the Windows hardware community.  The audience included: OEMs, ODMs, IDHs, IHVs, peripheral manufacturers, and driver developers.  During these sessions we delivered the latest documentation and demonstrated the tools available to enable Cortana on Windows 10 partner devices.

Sessions included:

Cortana and Speech Platform Overview: Provides an overview of Cortana, the Microsoft Speech Platform, the Windows Audio Pipeline and details the hardware specification and test guidance to deliver a high quality customer experience.

Cortana Audio System Design Guide: Provides details on the Cortana audio framework, the audio driver requirements, Windows enhancement pipeline, the policy of how Cortana chooses the appropriate audio pipeline, and acoustic recommendations for the device microphone array design.

Cortana Validation Spec Introduction: Provides details on the Cortana validation spec that covers test guidance and scenarios; how to setup the Cortana test environment and calibration; testing steps and how to analyze the results.

Realtek Audio Codec Introduction: Details the Realtek codec based audio system design for Cortana and its noise suppression algorithm.

Conexant Audio Solution Introduction: Details the Conexant noise suppression algorithm for use with Cortana.
