Description

Do you find the Windows deployment process and tools complex and hard to understand? Does it take you multiple hours to create a Windows customized image?

The Express Deployment Tool (EDT) makes it easier to install Windows 10 and additional software and to create a consistent branded and customized end-user experience.

The manual deployment process can take up to 3 hours. With the EDT streamlined deployment, the process can take 1.5 hours – an estimated 50 percent time savings.

The new EDT enables improved image management and provides one tool for customizations, deployment, and offline servicing. It integrates pulling in driver updates and the preinstallation of Office 2016 and Language Packs into a simple, easy to use interface helping you create a consistent, branded device and a customized end-user experience.

In this video, you will learn to create a Windows 10 customized image from scratch without having to run any command lines and learn many steps with the EDT.

This week, I installed EDT_1709 after uninstalling an older version. The basic installation was uneventful but after staring a new test project, we can't get past the Branding tab. After completing all five fields we try to go to the next tab but get an error pops up that says, "Please fill in all the required fields."

We've tried uninstalling and re-installing Windows 10 ADK and EDT_1709 several times, even on a separate Optiplex 9010. Still get the same problem. Can't get past the Branding tab. Please help to resolve.
