Bing Translation Plugin for Windows Live Writer

One of the cool things about the desktop blogging application Windows Live Writer is its extensibility through the use of plugins. We’ve covered many of these before, including the Zemnta plugin, the Tweetmeme plugin, and 10 other of our favorites. Now there’s a new one to add to the list - I just came across the Bing Translation plugin. Like it sounds, this tool lets you copy and paste text from the web (or wherever) into a provided text box for automatic translation using the Microsoft Bing Translator. The plugin was created by blogger Scott of using BingSharp, a .NET wrapper the Bing APIs created by MVP Joseph Guadagno.

The plugin is available for download now from the Windows Live Gallery, which by the way, is an excellent place to seek out new extensions for Live Writer.
