Live@edu Mashup Contest

To raise awareness for Microsoft's Live@edu, Microsoft is holding a contest among student software developers to see who can design the best application for Windows Live. You can check out some sample apps on the pages, which include some already created mashups like 3D Geology Maps, a meta search engine, a crisis "hotspot" map, and so much more. To get involved, go to The judging will be 25% public opinion (so get your friends to vote!), 25% usage of Windows Live Tools, and 50% creativity and utility of the application. One grand prize winner will receive $10,000.00 in cash! Two runners up receive $2500/each and two third place winners receive an Xbox 360 Halo 3 prize pack ($500 value). This makes me wish I was a student...and a developer!
