    I think it was on Xbit Labs not a year or two ago I heard about Avalanche..

    My god but it's taken forever to bear fruit (or at least show face in public).

    Would be nice to see MS incorporate it on a platform that needs it (peer-to-peer distribution of XBLA content for example). Would be interesting to see MS handling the accounts while the files themselves (as full version downlaods but locked down to demos/trials until you buy the unlock code).

    Later if it works MS could increase the size of downloadables to something reasonable like 2 gigs (bigger than demos) to really drive the need for a peer-to-peer distribution model.
