Last week, Microsoft released Silverlight 4, the latest version of the development platform which allows developers to create rich, interactive experiences for the web. Used for everything from online video, entertainment and media to enterprise-ready business applications, and soon arriving to the mobile world in the new Windows Phone 7 handsets, Silverlight is showing up in more places than ever these days.
Along with the release, the gorgeous Silverlight Client for Facebook, a great desktop-based Facebook application, has also been updated work with Silverlight 4. If you’re running the older version, you should uninstall it first prior to upgrade.
