This talk will take a look at the set of new features added to the upcoming 4.0 release of ASP.NET. We will start with a look at changes in Visual Studio 2010 for web development including minimized configuration files, new starter templates, and snippet support for form tags, html, and JavaScript. Then we will review the new features of the ASP.NET platform including ViewState enhancements, client ID management, improved markup and CSS rendering, and perhaps most exciting of all, URL routing for WebForms!
