      Shame, that without canvas, IE 9 will still be wayyyy behind the competition.

      Canvas is an element in  the HTML5 specification - The fact, that the canvas element is not yet in the pre-build (alpha) version of IE9, does not say, that it won't be in the final release of IE9 which is intended to support HTML5. (listening carefully to the speaker can avoid misunderstandings) - Wink

      The final release of IE9 will be wayyyy ahead of the competitors ...

      After a crash, when you restart  IE8, it  does recover all the tabs with URLs.

      that was an interesting demo of what is possible with HTML5 and gives a good insight to the process of meeting standards

      the preview of ie9 does look very promising indeed, but i hope a refresh of the preview comes out soon Smiley

      supporting the canvas element will be absolutly crucial if ie9 is to be taken seriously as a html5 browser  though.. personally i prefer silverlight, but hey.. Wink

      No canvas = No IE

      I have some issues with IE 9 beta. Very often the dialog for connection establish is appears when I visiting some web-sites. And it will be helpful to be able to specify location for every downloading file, but for default to save files to default folder.
